Honda ECM 34750-ZY3-A03

All - Does anyone know where I can find a replacement ECM, part number 34750-ZY3-A03? Called Honda this morning and they said it was discontinued. My current EMC has a pin (heated O2) that is loose and when you giggle the O2 cable it runs rough and runs normal when you let it rest.

It sounds to me like you might be able to simply re-flow the solder for that pin and you would be good. No?

If so, don't try doing it yourself or you might risk damaging the circuit board even more if you mess up.

I would find a circuit board specialist and pay them to do an inspection and the soldering.

Because, the only replacement you're liable to find will be a used unit. And that could have a problem of it's own.

You'll want to tighten up your research for past part numbers to see how they superseded over the years (in which some web web sites online tend to help with that) but using your number ending in A03 shows there are some used ones that fit your HP but end in A01, 02, 04.

And yes your original one should be repairable too...Lots of places found online ought to be able to help get that repaired both for Marine and cars alike that is if you find the right person / places willing to give it a go.
 
Running good now with an used ECM from Ebay. I'm considering sending the old ECM to repair specialist. I can't seem to find one for outboards, if anyone knows where this can be done, please let me know.
