i have a 225 when flushing out the motor after fishing water comes out the pee hole slow or not at all when tilted in the up position i cleaned out the hole and check valve seemed to pee better but still a little light compared to my starboard motor any help would be appreciated

Did you pull the hose and clean out the inside of the nipple that the hose attaches to? If so, and the telltale is totally clear, then it's likely a matter of difference in the water pressure on each motor.

Your not running the engine in the upright position are you?

Hi, I have the same problem, 200 hp, Cleaned the hole and changed the impeller, but still very little water comes out when flushing.
Can the rubber water hose behind the pee hole be blocked by salt and dirt?

Yes, that's possible. Pull that hose and flush it well. And clear out the nipple that the hose attaches to on the port side of the engine.

I have a BF130, but occasionally have to run a length of weed-whacker line up the pee hole (it's somewhat tough to get it started when you're in the boat hanging over the stern, but it's doable) -- it goes in over 5" or so, and usually clears any blockage that is in there.

Forget how it pee's when flushing, how's it pee's when its being run on the boat? Hondas don't like to run on the muffs, the only one's I've found that work are the cheap ear muffs with the heavy gage steel wire holding the ears.
