Electric Fuel Pump Assembly Replacement For Volvo Penta

Good day, captains! It looks like the high-pressure fuel pump is starting to fail, and I’ve been checking prices for a full replacement assembly. Even the cost of a new OEM fuel pump was honestly shocking.

However, I’ve noticed quite a few aftermarket assemblies on Amazon for around $100-+. Has anyone tried these? Are they actually worth it, or is it better to stick with OEM parts? Would appreciate any real-world experience or advice.

For their cost I find they work just fine
The price is definitely a good point, but I found several reports about overheating and blown fuses, leaks from the wiring connector, and even fuel leaking from holes in the fuel pump itself. I want to be on the safe side when it comes to something this important. Of course, some of those reviews could be fake, which is why I'm asking for feedback from real users with firsthand experience.
