    yamaha 40 horse over heating

    I replaced the water pump in my new to me 2009 40 fla 4 stroke. Iv'e done them before and never have had a problem. I'm still not getting a stream and over heat alarm comes on. Just recieved a new thermostat and will see how that goes. Could it be something else? Thanks in advance Dana
