    Alternator replacement suggestions

    I have an old USCG 41' utility boat from 1959. 6-71 on board. Any suggestions for an alternator that has stopped working. here is a picture of the plate. Would like to go with something modern but concerned with the hole pattern and other specs. Thanks

    Replacing gages on CG 41' utility boat with twin 6-71

    Thanks for the quick reply. The gages are all mechanical. There in lies the problem. I am concerned with finding the right historical parts but changing to modern electrical does not sound fun either. Opinions welcome..

    I am interested in replacing the engine gages, tacks and pressure gages. They have been giving odd readings. It would be great to go with something more modern if possible. Looking for suggestions.
