NO OIL LIGHT - Indicating the Oil Reservoir is empty

I have a 1997 Johnson 115 HP engine. I recently had the fuel pump replaced. Now, when we run the engine I get a NO OIL LIGHT indicating my oil injection reservoir is empty. I've looked everywhere, but I can't find one. Does this model not have an oil reservoir? I'm mixing oil and gas, can I...

    My fuel filter is stuck.

Muscle and ingenuity did the trick. Our wrench kept slipping, so my wife wrapped a piece of duct tape around the filter, we both tugged/pushed and off it came. Thank you for the help.

    My fuel filter is stuck.

Nope. It will not move. I’m going to gently tap around the top to see if it loosens.

    My fuel filter is stuck.

The fuel filter on my Sea Pro going into my Johnson 115 is stuck. I have not been able to budge it. Any suggestions? The filter was on the boat when I acquired it.

Looking for resource material, books, etc.

HI, raceone, I apologize for the long delay. Life has been getting in the way. Here are pictures of the engine. I have spark plugs, spark plug wires and a new fuel filter to install this week.

Looking for resource material, books, etc.

I have a 1997 Johnson 115 hp outboard and I'm looking for reference material as to the care and feeding of this thing. Particularly I'm interested in maintenance issues and schedules, photos to identify engine parts and all the things I need to know to keep this thing purring along. Thanks

Disconnecting the shift rod on a 1997 Johnson 115

Do I need to remove some of the parts off the front of the engine? I’m not able to grab that rod and push it.

Disconnecting the shift rod on a 1997 Johnson 115

This is what I’m seeing. If I move a hose I can see the part connected to the shift rod, but not sure where to go from here. My wife says I’m always confused.
