    Hi, This is not the safety mechanism. When I give full throttle, the boat motor does not hold the set angle and falls to the lowest point, making it impossible to get on plane.

    2005 Mercury 50 HP 2-Stroke tilt/trim issue

    Hi, I have a 2005 Mercury 50 HP 2-Stroke (1B097695). The tilt/trim works in neutral and at low speed, as well as on land at the house. However, when I increase the speed, the motor goes down to a lower position, and when I press the trim button, the tilt and trim do not work. Any thoughts?? Thanks.
