    2007 115 four stroke won't go above 4K RPMS under load

    Bought this motor used early this year and having issues. At first it wouldn't go above 2.5 RPMS, aka guardian mode. That was a bad gear indicator switch that I have replaced. Also found a hard plastic 'purge' hose which I have patched as well. New fuel filters and plugs but can't turn any more...

    02 125ELPTO. Exhaust out side anodes and water out holes not supposed to

    Hey guys I changed the impeller on this motor this spring and put it in the water. Has ran fine all season but it has had a strange "rumbling" sound at trolling speed all year but no issues. Well I pulled it from the water the other day and took it to the shop to work on some other things...

    02 Merc 125 idles at 1600 rpm !

    I started having charging problems and upon investigation found one of the connectors from the stator had shorted to the engine block. Stator checked out fine with a meter, however the diodes in the regulator/rectifier measured open. So I replaced the regulator/rectifier yesterday and repaired...
