    Can a bent skeg be straightened?

    Hi folks, Hit small rock pile while idling in gear & bent the skeg about 1/2" to port. Can it be straightened? What is the procedure? Thanks!

    Prop nut...lining up shaft hole with cotter groove question.

    When following the Honda service procedure, my castle nut is almost hand tight after properly torqueing (sp?) and backing off to the nearest available cotter groove. Prop, thrust washers, & nut are all Honda O.E. parts. Is there a "magic" nut with off-set grooves? Or maybe a shim/washer? Thx!

    S/S prop noise?

    This is not my boat but a pic of the "pocket" (not sure if that's the right term)....anyway, I'm guessing that the ventilation plate should be inline with the actual bottom of the keel and NOT the top edge of the pocket...Correct?

    Where can I get a scan tool?

    Is there a marine scan tool available from either Honda or the aftermarket? Or is there an adapter available that would allow connection of an automotive HDS or similar scan tool? Any recommendations would be appreciated, thanks.

    NMEA 2000 question

    Hey guys, I have a new BF150 and want to run the NMEA 2000. I’m using a Garmin echomap plus 74CV. Do I only need Honda’s NMEA 2000 cable? Or is there something else? Appreciate any input on this, thanks!
