    i did not check the gear lube for metal, the linkage is moving as it should be.

    removed cowling everything is still hooked up and moves as it should. however when you put the control arm into forward theres no resistance at all and prop freely turns by hand with no resistance

    60 hp mercury 4 stroke, hit log last night no forward, reverse good. I removed the cowling and watched everyting move when i put in reverse, all the same thinigs move when i put it in forward. The control arm has no resistance on it when you put it in forward, prop freely spins. Any ideas...
