    Schematic of Dash wiring and pin outs of connector. I added Blue type for Jgallo as he may remove the Amp meter and replace with Volt meter. Either way, Alt output is fed to amp meter and Key switch at the same time coming from Pin 4 (RED /White) and out put side of Amp meter goes all the way...

    I believe that that resistanve wire, even though it shows at choke, actually is/should be burried in the harness as a multi wire juction. (ignition on)

    No, I made a small T handle about 2" long with the same end as the one in the picture. No need for additional attaching tools. Small and easy to use. Added a wrist strap incase It falls out of the hand

    Hahaha Ya then Everyone would have one... I may give it some thought. In the mean time I am able to breeze through winged plug removal/installation and tightening wing nuts on batteries properly!

    Yes, Made two, One for my boat and one for toll box for others boats/batteries Also made one 2 1/2" long to remove winged block and manifold drain plugs on older mercs which I have on my boat. Both work perfectly

    Enough on the Wing nuts on batteries..................They work perfectly when you have the right tool.

    need more info on engine........................Serial number, EFI, TBI, or carbed. Different configurations used different ignitions. Link or specifics of what and where the new wires came from and brand.

    One socket is Unused on the dash to engine connector. Thus the 10 socket vs 9 pin.
