A bycicle pump with a guage and a 3/-16 fitting to screw into drive WHEN EMPTY ONLY.
I will attach a pic of a professional pump tester from Stevens Instruments

Oops... 3/8-16 threaded fitting as used on the little manual gear lube pumps that are sold at any marine store.
