    454 Merc /alpha 1 Dual helms 1 on flybridge 1 inside… I’ve looked at cables in both areas. When moving the levers on top and behind look fine no frayed cables. The unit has 2 arms 1 forward and reverse on right and throttle on the left .

    Not sure what happened, but I lost my reverse gear. I have forward a neutral but not reverse. After removing the cotter pin and engaging the reverse drive manually the system works as it should.     1987 df140 no spark issue

    Rookie/novice....Magneto/stator seem to be out not sure what to do, there are actually 4 small coils. I can’t believe the pricing for oem is there anything I can do to save my motor? 2-3-6-7 in catalog and all are over a $100 + each... Never tested anything like this, please advise. Thanks..
