    Thanks Faztbullet, I should have also mentioned that I have bypassed vro for oil and gone to 50 to 1 pre mix…and disconnected oil alarm wires….also should be mentioned that I also suspect a potential issue with the engine going in to SLOW mode…I have tried to run with the high temp gauge wires...

    I think if you just make sure the new carb float is level with the carb bowl (so the float isn’t angle up or too far down) you should be good to just install and get going..some good YouTube videos out there showing how to adjust Johnson carb floats with a flat head screwdriver ..search “Johnson...
