    I have seen another post https://www.etecownersgroup.com/post/trim-and-tilt-unit-service-fill-cap-removal-problem-6559197 that talks about raising the motor right up so it is on the support bracket and it tilts the trim to make the screw accessible. I will try that this weekend.

    This is the fill screw, I believe. It is restricted from being removed by the engine mount.

    Yes I’m pretty sure it is the fill screw. It is right below 4 hex screws. I tried posting a pic but it won’t let me.

    Wow! I have a 2009 etec 90 with the same setup. My tilt is not working and I think my seals are leaking. The last estimate I got was $1300 to replace it.
