    1997 Yamaha 115 2 stoke fail safe mode

    This outboard starts and idles fine but when you accelerate you feel the ignition cut out. I think it is going into fail safe mode. The 2 things that could cause this are low oil on the engine mounted tank and overheat. the oil tank is full. The red low oil level wire shows open. float moves...
