This outboard starts and idles fine but when you accelerate you feel the ignition cut out. I think it is going into fail safe mode. The 2 things that could cause this are low oil on the engine mounted tank and overheat. the oil tank is full. The red low oil level wire shows open. float moves freely. The 2 themo switches on the heads show open as they should when normal temp. Doesnt have water in fuel sensor. When I turn key on warning buzzer sounds. Is there a way to disable this fail safe mode?

No such thing as a fail safe mode on a Yamaha. It is a warning system. Telling the user to stop the motor immediately and then find and fix the problem.

Low voltage can trigger the alarm and RPM reduction mode. You might want to troubleshoot for that if you are certain the alarm is not a problem with the low oil warning and over temperature warnings.
