    no fire

    87 merc 25hp. no fire in bottom cyc ,switched coils over and still no spark in bottom cyc.with a good coil? whats next? plugs, wires are good.someone told me maybe bad trigger? what is that and how to fix or check? thanks

    firing prob

    1987 25 s.s. will only run on 1 cyc untill motor is warmed up then the 2nd one kicks in and runs fine till the boat launch.any way to test coils or is it carb? thanks in advance

    i went to remove my prop to fix the dings and dents from rough use for the first time and there was only a plastic nut holding the prop on! no retainer washers, cotter pins or anything else! behind the prop was a thick washer that reads," remove for dis-assembly". slid right off.i have been...
