Check the grey wire coming off the ignition switch, maybe loose/poor connection. I believe the grey wire should be energized with the switch on.
I have a service manual for my 2009 DF90A and it is very comprehensive. The rev limiter should only kick in at 3000rpms in neutral and 6000ish rpms. Wonder if your experiencing fuel starvation as opposed to the rev limiter?
Not familiar with the Suzuki two stroke engines. I have read in forums that the carbs have different jets in multiple carb configurations so hopefully you cleaned one carb at a time and didn’t get parts mixed up. Each carb has to go back in the same place as it came from, the top carb has to go...
Appears to be. I also have been reporting the non marine spam. I tap on the “members” name and hit ignore then refresh the website. Makes navigating the posts easier without the garbage.
I just realized that if you select the posters name and hit ignore all the spam post disappear from my feed. I’m sure they are still there for everyone else to see but it clears up my feed until @admin can delete them.
Don’t have immediate access to the boat. Where I set my 2”X2” will be different than where you need to place yours depending on trailer height, transom height and lower unit length.
I’d ask your dealer if it comes with a Setup Manual, if not then make sure he can get one for you. The setup manual explains the throttle and gear shift settings and adjustments, electrical schematics for the various controller configurations. It will take the guesswork and head scratching out...
I would suggest you get a genuine Honda Service Manual for your engine or ask on this forum if someone would/could post a wiring diagram for your engine.
