Hello!
I am a little newer to boating and I am trying to replace the oil pressure sender on my motor. My boat is a 1985 SeaRay Sundancer 340 with twin 454 big blocks (Model is crusader 350)
The port side engine was replaced right before I bought it. It is a model RH350. The oil pressure has always ran high on that gauge and I was told it is most likely a bad sender. I went to replace it and it wasn't budging. It is attached to the motor with a right angle clip. When I was attempting to loosen it, the clip and whole assembly was bending. Is that normal? I figured I would stop and research some before breaking something. I was trying to remove it with a wrench right underneath the cylinder. I have attached photos.
