    new engine install

    Having a hell of a time getting power to the engine. Have dash lights, 2006 Volvo 5.7 Chaparral . Usually, the fuel pump will turn on. should a ground from battery go direct to block .

    volvo coil and module

    what do ya think about those 75 dollar after market ones compared to the 500 dollar originals. they look identical. it's just a coil and module. for 2006 volvo 5.7 osxi-d no longer in salt environment.

    using parts other than volvo

    Just curious if anyone knows of using regular gm parts over volvo. Like for instances I have a coil that is rusting and want to replace it. it has the ignition module connected to it. Also the water pump. is rotted . 2006 5.7 350. these parts have to interchange.

    2006 Volvo 5.7 chaparral running issue.

    I just got this boat .Its a 26.5 foot chaparral . it won't idle . sometimes it does . changed plugs, plug wires cap rotor. I have to give it a little throttle to start it. sometimes it will stay running. but most of the time not . the more throttle trying to start then it wont start/...

    I want to rebuild my 5.7 in a chaparral 2006 256 ssi .. It does not have exhaust in transom. All in lower unit. I want to do a stroker engine for torque low compression with a comp can extreme. they have the bigger one they recommend but not sure if this boat can handle it without...
