    Hesitation

    I have a 1989 Evinrude V-4 that idles smoothly but when I get close to 2500 to 3000 rpm's it starts spurting or slight hesitation. It doesn't die but kind of hesitates. I'm using premium fuel with additives. Any thoughts?

    Need advice.

    I have a 120hp V4 that I'm trying to install a new lower unit. Everything is lining up except for the shift lever. I can't seem to get the lever to go thru the lower cover hole and line up with the linkage. Every time I remove to check the forward bend in the shaft has turned about 30 degrees...

    Water pump adhesive

    Have a new lower unit but the old trim tab, best place to put trim tab to start. I know it will need adjusting but where does one start?

    Bought a new lower unit and when I removed the old unit, I forgot to remember which way the bend in the shaft goes. 89 120hp V4
