    1996 200hp evinrude oceanpro

    I just had new forward controls fitted with new wiring harness. I brought it home & started her up with no probs, I put my hand on thermo cover to feel temp & got a huge electric shock. I also got a shock of gear linkage lever. Key would not shut down engine. Any ideas would be appreciated .:mad:
