    Chrysler force 85

The water/exhaust should come out of the snout on the bottom of the cavitation plate. There's a hole, maybe 2 in the cover for the mid section, there might be some water/smoke coming from there. So if you run in a bucket?? you probably won't see the exhaust. Too make sure the muffs are working...

    1990 Force 120hp Powerhead Removal

You need 5 posts to add pics. There's a gasket on one part but not the other. Use silicone where there's no gasket. Find the parts diagram and it will show you where the gasket goes.

    Chrysler force 85

If you have a Chrysler?? Then maybe someplace on the lower part of the cowl is a small metal ID tag with the year and model and serial#. No tag? on the side of the block, starboard side under the coils/pack, ignition stuff, is a foundry stamp. It's a circle with number and maybe letters. The...

    1988 FORCE 50 507X8C Junk?

The Force 50 is the same as a Chrysler 50 it's a good running motor and can last a very long time if it's taken care of. The bad rap they get is not deserved. It can last a long time if you take care of it. 2-3 years no use??? The worst thing is not using any motor.

    1988 FORCE 50 No water

IF??? the last time you used the boat was 2-3 years ago, the exhaust could be clogged with bugs and their nests. Wasps build mud nests for their young inside about every hole they can climb into. The new pump will have bent vanes on the impeller when installed. The 50 doesn't always work with...

Gamefisher 7.5 Spark on one cylinder

If you have points then you have coils and condensers. My guess is that the condenser or coil is bad. Try switching these around like you did the points. Checking these small motors is fairly easy, just swap the parts around.

50 Force won’t start need help

Like Racer said: take it to a shop(if they will work on it). I use a BIGGGG 3 jaw puller and a 3# hammer. Loosen the nut, don't remove, leave a few threads on or the wheel can go flying across the room. You might need a torch to loosen the taper. Yea Ontario(both) are a ways away from helping.

1986 85hp force not firing on cylinder 3

http://www.outboardignition.com/. They have trouble shooting procedures for your motor. If it didn't run full speed before?? Do a compression test?? post the results. Usually loosing spark on 1 cylinder could be the pack for that cylinder is bad(maybe) or the stator is bad(again maybe)

50 Force won’t start need help

You test the spark on all the plugs?? On the front of the motor is a tab with a line. On the flywheel is 2 sets of scribed lines. One has 3 lines and the other is a single line. Remove the spark plugs, insert a long skinny screwdriver in the plug hole. Turn the flywheel (by hand)until the...

50 Force won’t start need help

Might need 5 posts to be able to add pics. Until then use a photo sharing site like Shutterfly or something else. If you have the choke that closes when the key is pushed in you have the older style choke( I think the better style) You need to keep the key pushed in all the time your turning...

50 Force won’t start need help

IF??? it ran for 2 seconds then quit. It's possible it sheared the flywheel key. Really need to know the year. Somewhere on the block, motor is a foundry stamp. The stamp is usually round with some numbers in the center. Those numbers are the year that part was made. A few pictures of the...
