1989 Force 150 Trim and Tilt

I have a 1989 Force 150 model and serial number on bracket have been warn away. sticker on the head says 1501E9A. The T&T motor/pump sounds like its working when i push the buttons, however the motor does nothing. I have checked/filled fluid. When I remove the safety rod the motor will drop straight down. when i try to lift it back up there is resistance. I have a feeling that the Motor/pump is not pushing fluid all the way through the system. any advice/things to check would be great.

This is another forum for Force repair, the first 5 post in the Force forum has tips and repairs that can help you fix your motor.
The T@T if it falls down: the problem is in the bottom of the unit.
The unit comes in 4 parts: The bottom is the pump, then the reservoir, then the electric motor body then the top has the brushes and wires.'
More than likely the problem is in the bottom or the hydraulic pump .

It shows tiny red or black washers, these are probably the problem.

Disassembly can be tricky.

IF???? it's been in salt water at all?? that can make it more difficult to take apart.
