    Thanks. The wiring and tube count is the same with on both tops. Just the smaller tube comes out in different places. Because both hoses are called the same thing I may have answered my own question. Ran it again today on the muffs for 30 min and she purred. Thanks again all. Ed

    Sorry. Forgot to attach the one I put on. I’m computer challenged. The one I put on. The smaller nipple I am referring to comes out tight near the bigger one on top. I hooked the hose there. Not sure what the long term effects will be but seems fine right now. Ed

    Hi again. I located a complete working used vst Assy. It bolted up perfectly and all the hose connections were the same except 1. She fires right up and purrs like a kitten.     Valid point on the ground. I’m going to concentrate on the pump replacement which might fix everything and if not I’ll address the 3 volt issue. Thanks again. Ed

    Hi all,, again. I took a fully charged 12volt battery and wired up test leads. Took the connector apart right at the HP pump and connected directly to the pump plug. Aggressive spark but no pump noise. Swapped +- and same thing. Then I loosened the test plug. Was wet but no pressure. Hooked...

    back with ? I tested the 10amp mini fuse and got 12.3 volts. Then pulled apart the connection plug to the high pressure pump. Tested the hot lead and got only 3.1 volts. I’m starting to think maybe relay? Thank for any ideas. Ed

    One of the strangest things I noticed. 5-8 stations in needles Ca $7. Gallon diesel. Cross the bridge into ft Mohave Az and diesel 3.50. We are over $5 on diesel now so needles must be $9-10

    Laughlin is still a nice place. We actually stay in Topock Az for the winters (30 miles south of Laughlin) then return to silver springs Nv in the summer. Not sure how many years we will be able to do it but for now. it’s a bit different life style. Ed

    Reading some more on here I went back and pulled the 10am fuse. It looked fine but switched it with the spare anyway. No difference. No hum or any sound coming out of the pump area. 2 beeps 2 red lights then one red goes off after a second or 2. I tried releasing the gear lever and tried 1/4...

    Thanks for the reply. Very helpful. I’m sure it is a 150A serial#. Banj -1301235 so newer than 06. I think I will check relays and fuses first. Quite a few years since I fooled around with VST. I’ll try the easy stuff first. Thanks again. Ed
