hello i bought the motor so i need to change the impellor do i need to pull the power head like on my older johnsons or not thank you

Be sure to take the little bol

Be sure to take the little bolt all the way out....don't just loosen it because the shift rod is grooved out and it won't get past the bolt unless it is completely removed. The outer cowling will have to be removed to see the access cover to the shift linkage coupling we are talking about.
