1978 115hp Johnson Carburetor Rebuild

Likely did.----Time to use a flywheel puller with 3 bolts ( 5/16--NF ) and the correct procedure.---If tapers are damaged you need to use valve grinding compound to lap them.-----Assemble clean and dry.---Only 102.5 FT- LBS on the nut.

The key was broke. I got it to start. Now my problem is I’m not getting water out of the tell tale. I disconnected the hoses from the thermostat and I’m not getting water anywhere. I can’t figure it out. Any suggestions?

I figured it out. The key on the impeller shaft was stripped. So I installed the plastic key back on and it works great. Engine is running awesome. Thank you for all the info and help!
