Hoping someone smarter than me can provide some insight. I have a 1984 50hp Mercury 4 cylinder 2 stroke motor that runs great sometimes and after a while one carb will cut out. I have replaced the needle thinking that may be the issue but it continues, it will idle great (usually) and even run great at high speed but after 15 or 20 minutes will go back to one carb. Fuel filter is clean but serves both carbs. Fuel pump seems to be okay. Carbs were professionally cleaned not long ago. Any help is appreciated.
