1987 bassboat - fuel/water separator location Thoughts

People I need your opinion on the placement of the gas/water separator on my boat At the moment it is all the way in back and to remove it, the only way was by removing fuel fill line from gas tank. To top it off its so tight back there a once a year replacement and/or as needed I just about get arm in and by the time I'm done arm is tore up. I mean tight location to reach into.
So I heard about moving it into battery box which on both sides. My one side not gonna haven I run 24v so two batteries take up room.
I was wondering where pointing finger would be a safe location. This of course startup and dash etc

That spot could work...just make sure you know what you are mounting the head on and make sure that battery is tied down good....

Good deal. The walls are heavy plastic it seems with insulted backing and will be able to use bolts with nuts etc instead of screws to hold it on. The walls do have movement but very little and strong. Bolts I'll use to help with any vibration that may occur.
