1988 Yamaha 25 SG

I have a 1988 Yamaha 25 SG that has been sitting for years at our cottage. I’ve been trying to get it running recently and don’t seem to be having much success. I changed the spark plugs and have cleaned the carburetor but it still won’t run. If I pour fuel directly into the carb it will run but once the prime burns off it dies. I have new fuel, a new fuel line and the tank is venting. I pulled the line off the fuel pump when it was running and fuel was coming out the line so the issue lies in the carburetor. When I cleaned it I cleared the jets, although they didn’t seem that dirty but same thing, it runs when I prime the carb then dies. I haven’t used compressed air on it yet, so not sure if there’s something inside a port that’s blocking it. That will be my next step tomorrow but any advice is welcome as I am far from a qualified mechanic.

Carburetor needs to be completely dismantled and cleaned in a heated ultrasonic cleaner. Even then it is somewhat of a crap shoot.

Shove comes to push I would try a replacement from Amazon.
