1996 150hp johnson Bog Down problem

I am having an issue with the engine will bog down when going full throttle. it will drop to about 2000rpm intermittently. My speed will go from 35-40 mph to about 10mph and will not allow me to go any faster even at full throttle,it sound like a loss of one side of my cylinder bank. It will go again for a while back to normal and bog down at no particular intervals?

It may be fuel related or ignition.-----It can be costly if you run a big outboard with a fuel restriction !!!------Remember no fuel going in also means NO OIL !-------So verify that the fuel system / filters / hoses / fittings / water in the fuel ?/ pump are in good working order before running it again.---Perhaps run with a seperate 5 gallon tank and hose as a test.-------If problem persists after that you can run with a timing light and see if you are loosing spark on any cylinders.
