Contemplating purchasing a 2001 GW 282 Sailfish w/ Twin 2001 225 OX66's.
It's my understanding that these engines are just about bullet-proof.
What's the minimum I should check? Would like to run them on the hose, check compression and lower unit gear lube.
The boat is out of the water.
Where could I get a schematic for the starting circuitry so I could jump the solenoid to spin the motor w/o the key on?
What key maintainance item should I replace If I make the purchase?

Oil/Fuel Filters (how many?)
