2003 40hp Electric Start Low DI Questions

I purchased a Carolina Skiff with a nice sounding 2003 Tohatsu. It looks like an extremely low hour motor. What kind of compression results should I expect to see as acceptable? Anything else that can be shared about this motor if anybody is aware of anything.

OK, so you have an MD40B (TLDI). That's a direct-injection 2-stroke, that requires DFI oil. What is the compression?

Compression sounds good. An error is logged, so whip out the Factory service manual as a guide, put er in diag mode, and see what it says.
These are not shade tree mechanic motors; if you can't handle it, see a dealer.
