2006 Honda bf150 ugly rattle

Hi ya’ll, I have twin Honda 150’s four stroke, and heading back to the ramp
I started hearing a really bad rattle, sound like
An old diesel
Engine! Once I got hm
And turned on to flush the sounds coming from
The lower unit, any ideas? The casing where prop goes has a crack.

Pull the prop and inspect, Check your gearcase oil, if milky then crack when all the way thru the casing. After empty gear oil pressure test it see if air is coming out the crack or use compressed air and soapy water to see if air making it thru the crack. If so, sand the face and clean crack with parts cleaner and acetone use JB weld steel putty and press it into the crack then and test to see if it holds air from coming out if it does refill with oil and spin by hand to hear any noise continues.
