2006 Tahoe Q4 4.3

When removing one of the engine mounts for my Mercruiser 4.3, I broke both bolts off in the hull. The bolts are 1/2". Are the bolts lag bolts or through bolts? All of the threads broke off in the hull. How long are the bolts?

That photo helps alot. What is the best way to repair this? Should I carefully drill and extract them or cut out the bolts with a core drill and fill with epoxy?
 
I would suggest,
You can rotate the mount clockwise or C'clockwise just enough to be able to drill new holes for the Lag bolts. If you do so, when installing NEW Stainless Steel Lag bolts use 3M 5200 RTV in in the holes before screwing in the lag bolts. (do Not let it dry before installing new Lag bolts)

X2 twist them and drill new holes I used a long 3/8" spade bit and did it with the engine in place at a slight angle. The 5200 is super important

to the OP - they are like 3" long dont over think it. I was worried when I did my repower and I saw how sloppy sea ray had done them from the factory...
 
Another option is to use a 1 inch hole saw , drill down about an inch to start. Remove the wood around the lags and vise grip out the rest of the remains
Option 2 is to drill the length of the lag,remove the wood and lag remains,obtain some oak railing /oak dowels.etc shape to size, insert with resin,cover with FB cloth.
