2007 Honda BF 225 water leak

Toward the end of the season I noticed water coming out of the front of the cover when the motor was trimmed all the way up and I was flushing the motor from the flush port with a garden hose. Also noticed it would leak out of the front of the motor when cruising above 20mph.
Last time I flushed the motor I took the cover off to see if I could find where it was coming from. So far I've narrowed it down to be coming out of somewhere in the back of the motor. No coolant lines that I could see were leaking. Not very helpful but I've attached a picture with the area circled of the approximate location of the water.

After looking at a parts diagram I am wondering if it's coming from the water jacket cover. #12 on the parts diagram. Part# 16061-ZY3-000

I would imagine the water jacket is related to the cooling system and maybe this is the source of the leak?

You might try flushing it in a test tank with the cover off. Have you changed the thermostats recently? Salt can definitely build up in the cooling circuit. Some folks feel that the flush port does not do a complete flush because the motor doesn’t get to 160 degrees, therefore the t-stats do not open and the flush does not reach the whole cooling system.
 
I had a 2002 225 that corroded at the bottom cylinder where it meets the head on the port side. Symptoms similar to yours. Pulled the head and repaired with a metal epoxy Belzona.
Find the source and we can guide you from there.

I replaced the thermostats in the beginning of the season last year even though they looked good.

I do agree with the theory on the flush port not doing the entire cooling system. Even if the thermostats were open they would close from the cold water being flushed through it.

Was it Belzona 1111 that you used?
