Model E130DSLSE, 150 hrs.
Although I run my engine on the hose every month and let run for 15 min after reaching operating temperature, I took it out after 2 years and all was fine running a a moderate plane about 4000 rpm.
However, after about a minute at full throttle the temp buzzer goes off. Slowing to idle for about 15 sec the alarm stops and stayed off at 30 mph plane for 5 min run to the ramp.
I removed the thermostats, both were clean and closed.
I heated in a water bath. One starts to open at 140F and full open at 170F and full closes at 140F. The other on does not open until about 175F and opens about 1/2 the stroke of the other one. It stayed open after cooling off.
The water pump puts out a good stream from prop exhaust and water pump indicator.
What is the normal water operating temp range and activating temp range of the thermostat?
