2014 Honda Bf60a anode locations

Hi there,

I was supplied all required anodes for my 2014 bf60 by my local Honda supplier
I cannot figure out where this one particular anode is located, I have replaced the internal anodes inside the water jacket and it does not belong in there. If someone could please point me in the right direction that would be great thank you,

Regards

See item 6 in link. I believe that it mounts behind the rectifier assembly...
...item 8 but I'm not 100% sure.

If it does and it's because the rectifier is water cooled then you may get lucky and find part or all of your cooling blockage in that jacket area when you open it up.

Good luck.
Thanks for that, it was spot on so very helpful.
There was build up behind the rectifier, that was cleaned up and new anode installed.
I gave it all a good flush out from the stat hole down, water seemed to be flowing fine and no major debris exited.

Tested boat today with and without the thermostat and still running high temp around 110° Celsius at WOT both ways.

Is there anything else I’m missing where it could be blocked or to cause this high temp?
Unless the sensor is reading incorrectly or the sounder is displaying the data incorrectly I’m not sure what to check next.

He has another post about the overheating. He said in that one that he replaced his waterpump.

Richo97,
You may be right about the alarm and gauge being wrong.
It could just be that the sensor is reporting incorrectly.
You may want to try using a no touch thermometer to see if it's ready getting up to 110c.
I don't think that this outboard should run much higher than 80°c. Although, that's just a guess as I don't have any documentation.
At 110c it should be close to the guardian system coming in to de-power the engine to save it from damage.
I would not run it anymore like that until I knew what was happening
