2017 Yamaha 25HP throttle not returning to idle

Engine must be shut off - then restarts at proper idle.

Try hitting the troll rpm down button. May be ecu isn’t resetting troll setting, and it is in user end of this feature

This one is being used as a pusher on my sailboat - no buttons for such. Pressing the key doesn’t seem to change anything. I just assumed disconnect the mechanism… if I can find it.
