Wondering if anyone knows how to reset this alarm. I changed the oil, but can't reset your counter. I followed instructions for iST controls, and there is another thread here that was very informative... But I have twins with standard key panel for Honda twins... No stop 🛑 button so unable push at 1 sec intervals. This is my only key panel.

Right, so follow my instructions from the link and simple use the toggle switch flicking up and down at 2 sec intervals until the alarm gives a beep indicating reset.

The following procedure explains how to reset the hour counter after periodic maintenance is completed. If you are not comfortable resetting this feature using the procedure below, contact an authorized Honda Marine dealer for assistance. Visit marine.honda.com to find a dealer near you, or call Honda Customer Relations at 770-497-6400, option 6.
After periodic maintenance is performed, follow these steps to reset the hour counter.
1. BesuretoturnOFFtheenginebeforebeginningtheresetprocedure.Pulltheemergencystop switch clip out of the emergency stop switch by pulling the emergency stop switch lanyard.
2. Puttheshiftleverin“F”(Forward)or“R”(Reverse).
3. Turn the ignition switch ON. Do not start the engine. The buzzer will sound once.
4. Presstheemergencystopswitch5timeswithin20seconds.Thebuzzerwillsoundonce indicating the hour counter is reset.
Periodic maintenance is required when either the operating hours or the time since the last maintenance reaches the prescribed limit. Therefore, periodic maintenance may be required before the hour counter generates a maintenance indication.
Reset the hour counter whenever maintenance is performed, whether based on the time interval or the number of operating hours.

thank you all for the assistance. after trying the above multiple times and holding my tongue just right, it still didn't work. Starting thinking about it as everything continued to beep at me, and realized may disconnection my two HDS-4 displays NEMA 2000 may help. Maybe that is preventing the rest,... and VIOLA!

Not sure exactly why that worked but it did. Beeping stopped, reset accepted, plugged back in my engine displays and all is good. Thank you

I have same motor with hds-4. I have the cable from NMEA connection at motor back to helm. Have NMEA backbone. One tee from motor, one going to hds-4 and one going to 12 volt power. Terminators on both ends. Nothing powering on at hds-4. I used meter and it shows 12+ volts at power leading into power backbone.

Do you know if this is similar to your NMEA network?
