Motor turns over good. No spark. Any idea how to find where ignition is grounding out?

You start by removing the flywheel to inspect the 2 coils , 2 sets of breakers and the 2 condensers.----You need a puller that uses 3 bolts and they are 1/4-20NC thread.

And when you put it back together, the flywheel and crankshaft tapers must be clean and dry, and you must use a torque wrench to tighten the nut to 100-105 foot pounds. Failure to heed this advice can cause serious and permanent $$ damage.

There are two small black wires coming out of the bottom of the points plate. Disconnect both wires and isolate so they do not touch ground and see if you get spark. One is a knife disconnect just pull the rubber insulator off the connection and break them apart, the other goes to the cutout switch with a lug connector.

The two black wires basically have the same connectors as the temp switch
