Remote start
Bought the motor as a non runner. The guy said sometimes it starts and sometimes not and he wasn't kidding. When it starts it's perfect!
Yesterday probably 20 times it would start only when I was releasing the key and then it would start while in start position and then I tried it one more time 3-4 hours later and nothing, no spark!
I did the ohm test procedures on the ignition system but don't have the numbers with me. Can say the primary coil test was high barely and the lighting side of the stator was high barely also but everything else was within spec.
One thing that throws me is the thermal switch off the stator (choke) was showing ground on both wires yet ohm tested good so not sure how it would work at all.
Any ideas on what to check
