Hello,
I was wondering what the indicator in the below picture was for. After some brief research, I've found out it is the Active Corrosion Protection System. When my boat was out of the water, I noticed there were some finned metal units under my outdrive, which I now recognize as part of this system. However, I also installed sacrificial zincs on my outdrive to prevent corrosion. Does the ACPS replace the need for any zinc's on the outdrive, should I use them together, or simply stick to one or the other? Also, can someone explain in layman's terms what this system does?
