Over the years I've learned a lot about maintaining my BF 225, thanks mostly to spending too much time with the Helm Shop Manual, reading posts on this forum, with very special thanks to Hondadude, replying to posts on this forum, and generally futzing around with the engine.
I finally took the time to put together my personal maintenance schedule which I try to follow every time I pull the engine for maintenance. Admittedly, I haven't personally done everything on this schedule. But rather, sometimes took it to my dealer with specific directions on what I wanted done. I usually did this when I knew I was going to be away for an extended period, or doing a medical recovery.
I thought I would share this so others may take advantage of some of the things I have learned - some the hard way. It's in a PDF format. If you want the original Excel format so you can modify for your personal use, send an e-mail to me at [email protected]. Also, the referenced page numbers in the Owners Manual may be different than the one you have, since there seem to by multiple versions out there in cyberspace, but they will be off by only a page or two.
ALSO, if anyone sees anything that is amiss in this document, please let me know. If changes are needed, I will fix and re-publish.
