BF30A - Reasons for sudden weak telltale?

My motor is a BF30A LHSA pre-1997 with over 3000 hours on it. The telltale usually runs very strong, but recently, it is running quite weak. I will add that the transition from strong to weak was very sudden. At the beginning of a fishing trip it was strong, and at the end, it was weak. I have already checked the hose that runs from the bottom of the water jacket cover to the telltale exit, and it is not blocked. I also checked the lower unit, and there are no blockages between the water intake and the beginning of the water pump. Also the impeller is in perfect shape. I'm sure I am overlooking something, hopefully you all can point me in the right direction. Could I have a blockage somewhere in the water pump inside the motor? If so, how could I remove it?

Here are some recent fixes/problems I have done/am having, maybe they will shed light on the matter?
- Carburetors need to be rebuilt
- Choke does not work unless the throttle is very open
- Lower unit oil seals were compromised and replaced (water mixing with gear case oil)
- I recently slightly lowered the extension case from the motor to replace a gasket, could I have damaged the water pump in doing so?
- Replaced all impeller water pump parts in the lower unit
- Replaced timing belt

Thanks in advance for your help!

Run the motor on a flushing attachment , remember to blank off the secondary pick up under the anti ventilation plate, and then use compressed air to blow back through the tell tale nozzle to clear the blockage. If it is still weak after doing that, check the thermostat, it may be stuck open which is not good for the motor as it will run very cold.

Not sure if I am following. You want me to blow compressed air through the tell tale nozzle WHILE running the motor?

Also forgot to mention, the thermostat is in good condition, not stuck open, and tested in boiling water.

Yes, blow with engine running, so that what ever's causing the partial blockage gets flushed out into the water flow
