I just pulled my carb, and I'm trying to order rebuild kit...problem is I'm having trouble finding what I'm looking for. Everything I'm looking at for my year motor doesn't match the carb I have in my hand?

Here's what I pulled of the carb:
Bottom of mounting flange - 2B3 XK
Bottom Float Bowl - WMK 1368-5676 S
Float Bowl Cover - 1395-5677
Front Float Bowl - 38 1-0567

Lottsa #'s none seem to be helping me find exactly what model carb this, and what I need to order.

Any help would be great.

"Hello All,

Please belay my last post about carb ident. I think I answered my own question. I found this for Merc WM & WMK carbs Sierra Part# 18-7021
I think it's time to step away from the motor for a bit..Getting goofy!

"Chris, when you order the kit

"Chris, when you order the kit all you get is the gaskets, both of them, if you want more parts like the float or needle you will have to order them. sending an email to your account"

"JB,

That link I just sent

"JB,

That link I just sent doesn't go to the correct section of their site. Ops.

That is defiantly my carb!
According to marineengine.com #18-7021 has gaskets, needle, and seat.

Man did I order the wrong thing?

"I don't see the float in

"I don't see the float in those kits. I have a spare carb in my hand its a WMK 37-1, I think it came from my 35hp. Theres nothing to those carbs, set the float and keep the main jet (bottom brass plug) clean. Set idle mixture screw at 1 1/4, should be close. Blow out the 5 idle speed ports behind the throttle butterfly."

"JB,

Thanks for the picture

"JB,

Thanks for the pictures. Would like your thoughts on some things. I will reference the parts as they are labled on the diagram you sent:
(7) This little bugger wont come out. No matter what I try. I have a new one coming in the kit, but gotta get this one out.
(19) Is not in my carb, just (20)?
(27) & (26) will not budge. (26) looks like a gorilla took the wrong size drive to it, and I just cant get purchase to break it free. From what I can Tell (27) Looks good, a little varnished.
I would really like to get (26) out so I can take a look at (25)
Hey, Other then that its great :)

Help O Wise One"

"You are taking it apart toooo

"You are taking it apart toooooo much. This is a simple carb, set the float, check the jet, blow air in it and move on. Remove #28, there is the main jet, anything larger wont pass through the hole. The rest is just varnish and won't effect operation if the passage is open."

"JB,

I agree, was obsessing

"JB,

I agree, was obsessing a bit. But does the little washer above the needle seat need to come out? Almost looks like its in front of the threads in there.

"JB,

Why do you think (

"JB,

Why do you think (19) from carb diagram was not installed in my carb? It looks like the idle jet would block that from being there.

-Chris"

"19 isn't listed in the pa

"19 isn't listed in the parts breakdown, its probably part of an assembly and is there somewhere, your obsessing again. Put it back togeather
