Hi folks, brand new to this.
One of the above engines ( rebuilt...) is losing about a litre of coolant per 1.5hrs. There is white smoke on start up but as soon as there is any temperature it appears to go away.
However. There is now black soot in the header tank.
I haven't done a pressure check yet but pretty sure I know the result already.
I'm sort of hoping this could be exhaust "elbows(90deg bends) gaskets. Any thoughts?? Easy checks first?
