I have a 1983 Evinrude 15 hp electric start and in the cool mornings it takes a lot of turning it over to get it to start trying to fire and then more to get it to start. once warm it will start right off. Warm afternoon at home it starts right up. If it was pull start it would never work. New fuel pump, new line bulb pump. carburetor has been rebuilt. Pull down to the lake in the mornings and always has difficulties starting. 1 more thing I can run most all-day fishing 10 minuets to a spot another 10 to 15 minutes to other spots a few times and then later in the day it will start to lose power and die, start back run with low power trying to die. Could the problem be 1 in the same? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
