Hi all,.
The 18s are great motors but noticed that the configuration of the area under the water pump seal went from a bush permanently attached to the case (only available with a new case) to a replaceable needle bearing in 1969 (-72 evinrude). My 1957 has quite a bit of slop in this area and it is affecting it's sealing. Was wondering if
I could extract the bush and replace with the newer bearing style? Attached is a photo. #50 on this 1969. Thanks
